Settling into my new digs.
It took a lot longer than I thought, but I'm getting used to my new home. There are a few things I've observed about moving. The only thing that eats up more time than boxing up your stuff is UNBOXING it. (It took forever to find my pony figures.) Owning your own homw is more complex than you initially realize. Since my old landlord was a bone-head, I was used to handling house problems by myself. I won't get into details, but let's just say that it takes work to own a home.
My new neighborhood is worth all the sweat and weariness, however. No roosters, hood-rats or illegal immigrants in my new digs. Since I live next to a nature park, the only thing I have to worry about finding in my back yard are bears. Seriously, they've been spotted in my neighborhood.
Most of my sculpting stuff is unpacked. Some of my sculptures need major surgery, but at least Skellinor survived the move. I'll be making more cartoons of her as soon as I get a free moment or two.

I'll be offline soon for about a week. I'm finally moving out of my cruddy rental home and into a nicer house in a quieter neighborhood. I'll be paying more for the mortgage, but the crime rate at my new digs is half what it is here.
